There’s still time!

Tomorrow is September first. The year is beginning to wind down now that the lazy summer days are at an end. Chef Nicholas will only be teaching three more classes at our location in Georgia this year. Not only are there three Nicholas Lodge classes left, there are also only three classes left taught by visiting instructors in Studio B! Don’t fret, there is still time to sign up for a class with us at ISAC before the year is out!

Now, we have discussed each of the following classes, so I will just give a quick overview on the classes that still have seats available! Chef Nicholas is offering his three classes in September. The Five Day Ultimate Gumpaste Flower with PME Certification will be held September 9-13, 2017. With 18 different flowers, this class is perfect for people who want to learn a lot in a short amount of time. This is, and has always been, one of Chef Nicholas’ most popular classes. Next up, Chef Nicholas is teaching two consecutive classes: Rolled Fondant Techniques with PME Certification and 3-Day Royal Icing Techniques with PME Certification. These classes are being offered September 23-25 and 26-28, 2017 (respectively). With each of these three classes, students will receive a PME certificate for each class; each class is one part of three modules needed to receive the PME Master Diploma. If you would like to earn the PME Master Diploma, or if you need to complete one or more modules to receive the PME Master Diploma, then sign up for any of these three classes!

ISAC is hosting two more guest instructors this year: Chef Joseph Cumm and Chef Tunde Dugantsi. On October 7, 2017, Chef Joe will be teaching his Introduction to Chocolate and Bon Bons class in Studio B. Students will learn how to temper chocolate, make ganache and modeling chocolate, and truffles, bon bons, and even a chocolate rose! Students will be able to take home their tasty treats, so if you love chocolate, this is definitely the class for you!

The final two classes of the year will be taught by Tunde Dugantsi. Tunde is well known for her gorgeous gingerbread cookies, and after our annual Grand Holiday Open House, she will be teaching her Introduction to Chocolate and Bon Bons and Lace Design cookie classes. The cookies is this class are incredibly detailed. They are sure to impress all your holiday guests! If you are planning on attending our Grand Holiday Open House, then I truly recommend Tunde’s classes. I have never seen cookie designs quite like these!

There you have it folks. The final classes of 2017, and there is still time to sign up for each one of these classes! We all hope to see you in class!
