This October Chef Nicholas is thrilled to be attending not one, but TWO fantastic cake and sweets shows: the Show Me Sweets Edible Art and Cake Competition and Canada’s Baking and Sweets Show. This will be the first time that Chef Nicholas attends either of these shows, and is excited to bring his skills and expertise to the attendees. Chef Nicholas will be offering seminars at both shows, and the best news? Chef Nicholas seminars are free!*

Chef Nicholas will be teaching seminars at Canada’s Baking and Sweets Show and the Show Me Sweets Edible Art and Cake Competition!

 On Saturday, October 21, 2017, Chef Nicholas, Renshaw Brand Ambassador, and Renshaw Americas are offering a 90 minute interactive demo at the Show Me Sweets Edible Art and Cake Competition in St. Louis, Missouri!  Come discover the, “The Renshaw Difference;” learn about the Renshaw Americas brand of rolled fondants, gumpaste, and royal icing and what differentiates Renshaw from other competitive brands! In this seminar, Chef Nicholas will be teaching color matching, blending and mixing as well as tips for using rolled fondant, gumpaste and royal icing. This is a FREE demo, but advanced registration is necessary. You can register by clicking here. Please note that while this is a free seminar, admission to the Show Me Sweets Cake & Candy convention is NOT included. All tickets for must be purchased separately for the show here! There are many cake decorating classes being offered at the Show Me Sweets Edible Art and Cake Competition, and several are being taught by Chef Nicholas’s Renshaw Brand Ambassador Partners, including Liz Marek and Reva Alexander-Hawk! Just one week later, Chef Nicholas is jetting north to Toronto, Ontario for Canada’s Baking and Sweets Show! On Sunday, October 29, 2017, Chef Nicholas is featured as one of the show’s Premier Celebrities! This show draws tens of thousands of people every year, and Chef Nicholas is honor to be an invited guest this year! Chef Nicholas will be giving two seminars that will be included with the price of a general admission ticket. Chef Nicholas has traveled to Canada many times to teach classes, but he is excited to be part of such a huge show this time! There will be many cake decorating and candy making classes offered, as well as a seminars offered by Anna Olsen, Sam Turnbull, and Sweetapolita (I’m a huge fan of Sweetapolita! I love her sprinkle mixes!).

Chef Nicholas is hoping to meet lots of new faces and see lots of familiar faces at both shows. He can’t wait for October- two sweet shows in one month!

 

 ISAC 25th Anniversary Fun Fact: The fall of 2010 brings both the Grand Opening of “Studio B, a teaching component of the Nicholas Lodge School,” as well as Nicholas being one of the Top 10 Cake Decorators and Pastry Chef of the Year. Nicholas is the first, and still the only person to receive both awards in the same year.
