Sugar Flowers Out of the Box!

Chef Nicholas’ Craftsy Class is ALMOST HERE!

There are only FOUR more days until Chef Nicholas’ newest Craftsy class launches! Hooray! I know everyone reading this is doing a serious happy dance right now! How do I know? Because I see and read all the facebook comments, blog comments, and emails begging for Chef Nicholas to release new Craftsy classes. Hey, they don’t call me the social media goddess for nothing. I thought since we have less than a week on the countdown, I would share a bunch of the project photos and tell you a bit about the class.

Sugar Flowers Out of the Box. I bet you are wondering what kind of class this is going to be. Well, if you haven’t heard, Chef Nicholas is pretty amazing at making botanically accurate gumpaste flowers. If you are reading this blog and DID NOT know that, I think you might be reading the wrong blog!

In this class, his fifth Craftsy class, Chef Nicholas is going to be showing students who do not have the time, tools, or ability to make hand-made flowers, how to take pre-made gumpaste flowers and turn them into something truly spectaular. You will learn how to wire, color, and enhance these flowers. As Chef Nicholas told me, he will take simple flowers and make them simply fabulous! Learning how to deconstruct these pre-made flowers will allow students to create modern stylized flowers by added sugar brooches, vintage hat pins or rhinestones. By the end of this class, the generic flowers you started with will be completely transformed into a unique and beautiful finished project. Chef Nicholas will demonstrate how to create several types of bouquets and sprays AND how to make pressed sugar vases! You will also learn how to arrange your swanky, up-styled, pre-made flowers onto cakes, and how to appropriately price your arrangements!

This class is perfect for anyone who uses pre-made gumpaste flowers, but all the projects in this class can, of course, be completed with handmade gumpaste flowers as well! If you haven’t yet entered to win this class for FREE you still have time!! All you need to do is click here before March 1st!  On March 2, when the class launches we will share a 50% off link on our facebook page, so if you haven’t liked us yet, do it now!

Sweetly yours,

Stephanie

  1. So anxious to take this class. I want to become a sugar flower expert and sell my flowers and bouquets and sprays to other bakers. This could make their lives easier and mine fuller.
