Fall Florals
Sat., September 12, 2026 — Time: 10:00am – 4:30pm PDT Location: Newport Beach, California Instructor: Donald Joiner Price: $150
Celebrate the beauty of autumn as you create a charming woodland-inspired floral arrangement completely by hand. In this 6-hour hands-on class, you’ll learn how to make delicate cosmos flowers, realistic buds, mushrooms, berries, foliage, and seasonal accents from flower paste, then arrange them into a beautiful keepsake displayed in a small terracotta flower pot.
Throughout the class you’ll explore techniques for shaping, veining, coloring, wiring, and assembling lifelike botanical elements while creating a balanced, natural-looking composition. Every student will complete and take home their finished arrangement, along with the skills and confidence to apply these techniques to future floral projects.
Skill Level: Intermediate (some flower paste experience is helpful, but all are welcome.)
Class Length: 6 Hours (Hands-On)
Lunch Break: A 30-minute lunch break is included during the class. Lunch is on your own.
Students Will Learn:
- Creating realistic cosmos flowers and buds from flower paste
- Coloring and shading for a natural finish
- Making woodland mushrooms, berries, foliage, and seasonal accents
- Wiring and assembling individual components
- Designing a balanced miniature floral arrangement
- Professional finishing techniques for a presentation-ready display

Capture the beauty of the holiday season as you create this elegant Poinsettia with Pine Branch & Pinecones arrangement from flower paste.
In this 4-hour hands-on class, you’ll learn how to create a realistic poinsettia, pine branch, pinecones, berries, and seasonal accents before assembling them into a festive holiday decoration accented with ribbon.
You’ll explore techniques for veining, wiring, coloring, and assembling each element while creating a balanced, natural-looking design. Every student will complete and take home their finished arrangement along with techniques that can be used in many future holiday projects.
Skill Level: Beginner to Advanced (some flower paste experience is helpful, but all are welcome.)
Class Length: 4 Hours (Hands-On).

Romantic Royal Icing & Lace Cookie Class

Discover how to combine classic royal icing techniques with delicate lace and stained-glass details to create elegant, dimensional cookies.
During this 3-hour hands-on class, students will work through several decorating techniques while completing a coordinated set of beautifully finished cookies. You’ll learn how to create a smooth base with royal icing flooding, add dimension and movement with piped icing ruffles, incorporate delicate edible lace, and create a luminous stained-glass effect for added color and shine. Techniques covered include:
- Royal icing flooding and smooth finishes
