Greg Cleary comes to ISAC

G’day mates: mark your cake decorating calendars! In August, Greg Cleary will be coming all the way from Brisbane, Australia to teach in Studio B! Yay!

For over 30 years Greg’s passion has been baking and cake decorating. He has a flair for creativity and a knack for design and coloring cakes; using his skills Greg creates stylish, elegant, and fun cakes for all occasions. These talents have led to a formal qualification as a pastry chef and a flourishing career with his Sweetums Cake Designs and Sugar Art Academy. Oh, and a fun fact- Greg worked as a florist, just like Chef Nicholas! That means that you can be sure that all the flowers Greg teaches will be very detailed and intricate!

On August 8-9, 2015, Greg will be teaching his White Wedding Favorites class at ISAC. In his class, Greg will be instructing his students on peonies, roses, morning glories, and filler flowers (and appropriate foliage). Students will learn how to color an all white floral arrangement, as well as how to assemble and arrange the completed flowers!  As always, all tools and supplies necessary to create this beautiful display cake will be provided.

This is a very exciting opportunity; it’s not too often that we get an Aussie instructor in Studio B! If you would like get all the hot cake decorating tips and tricks from Down Under, join us at ISAC for Greg’s class. You can sign up by clicking here. We hope to see you for our Down Under Meets Down South class this August!

Sweetly yours,

Stephanie
