Upcoming class this fall!

So, now that everyone is at home making all kinds of roses and flowers and ferns with their amazing Flower Pro toys… let’s talk about what’s happening at ISAC this fall!

RIGHT NOW, Chef Nicholas is wowwing and dazzling at the 2018 CookiCon! Yup, today is the day of Chef Nicholas’ classes at CookieCon, so his students are enjoying his Art of Royal Icing class, or his Art of Rolled Fondant and Gumpaste. Now, CookieCon is an amazing event that sold out in minutes, yes MINUTES. It sold out so fast their site crashed! Everyone at CookieCon is lucky to be there, learning from the kingpins of the cookie decorating world, and shopping at the great vendor booths. But, they don’t get to have all the fun.

Nope, we have LOADS of fun planned for our ISAC classes! First up on October 6, one of our steady guest instructors, Chef Joe Cumm is returning! Chef Joe will be teaching a fancy Tea Party Pastry class; if you like opera cakes, tartlets, rugelach, scones, and other taste tea treats, you should probably sign up. It’s a one-day class on a Saturday, so it can easily fit into your schedule!

The following weekend, beginning on October 13, Chef Nicholas will be teaching the first ever RENSHAW ACADEMY MASTER CLASS! You guys, seriously. This class is going to be EPIC. You will be learning the rolled fondant techniques, royal icing techniques, and gumpaste flower techniques! So, you will come away with an enormous new skill set. Or, maybe you will hone and improve the skills you already have. Either way, at the end of the class, you will be awarded a total of SEVEN certificates, including the Renshaw Academy Master Certificate! Yay! This class is ideal for those coming from out of town and out of country. It’s all the certifications in one shot!

If you are looking for something very classic, then maybe I can interest you in Ceri Griffiths Over-Piped Elegant Wedding Cake class, November 7-8, 2018. Ceri will be visiting from the UK to teach students loads of incredibly intricate royal icing techniques including Six different piped borders, mirrored or symmetrical piping, stacked line work, draped line work, piped dots, toothpick/coctail stick roses, piped leaves, cake mapping, as well as creating templates.

On November 17 and 18, we are hosting our Grand Holiday Open House. Always a big hit with all of our fans, customers, and students. Seats have already been filling up. They go fast, so sign up now and reserved your seat! We will be hosting Sandra Beltran as our guest instructor this year!

After our open house event, Sandra will be staying on to teach not one, not two, but THREE amazing cookie classes! All three classes are partial day classes, so it’s easy to take just one or all three! Sandra will be teaching Unicorn Bliss cookies, Art Deco cookies, and Bohemian Love cookies! Way back when, Sandra sent Molly all of her cookie collection photos. Molly and I had SUCH a hard time deciding which to choose. ALL of Sandra’s cookies were beautiful! I hope you love them as much as we do!
