Sunny Summer Flowers

Summer is here! One of my favorite things about summer is seeing big, beautiful blooming flowers every where I look. Even when I am at work, I see Chef Nicholas’ beautiful gumpaste flowers! While you may not be nearby to take a class with Chef Nicholas in person at our school, you can always create your own stunning summer flowers by taking one of Chef Nicholas Craftsy classes!

Chef Nicholas has 11, yes ELEVEN,  classes offered through Craftsy, and ten of those classes are focused on flowers! Why not start your summer off by enjoying a class with gorgeous summer flowers? If you love bright and shiny sunflowers, then give Sweet Seasons: Summer Sunflowers a try! In love with lilies? Take Chef Nicholas’ Lovely Lilies class to learn how to create fabulous calla, stargazer, tiger, and trumpet lilies!

If you are partial to roses the summer blooms in Chef Nicholas’ Romantic Garden Roses class will take your breath away. In addition to Harrison’s Yellow Rose, wild roses, English roses, Hybrid Tea roses, you will learn how to incorporate subtle details to enhance your flowers. Chef Nicholas will show you how to create lifelike droplets of water and leaves that appear to have been eaten by bugs!

If you like to buck tradtion and follow the latest trends, there is a class for that: Mastering Modern Sugar Flowers! Learn how to create lucious succulents, stylish dahlias, and the latest “it” flower- the rununculus! This is one of Chef Nicholas’ most popular classes, and looking at the gorgeous flowers included, it’s easy to understand why!

Don’t forget! ISAC is currently running a huge 25% off sale on our classes from now until July 17, 2017! Any classes TAKEN in this time period are currently 25% off in honor of ISAC’s 25th Anniversary! There are four classes to choose from: Intro into Rolled Fondant, Exotic & Tropical Flowers, Exotic and Tropical Orchids, and the 5-Day Ultimate Gumpaste Flower class (with PME Certification)! We hope to see you in class this month!

ISAC 25th Anniversary Fun Fact: In 2002 Chef Nicholas is invited to teach Continuing Education classes at the prestigious French Pastry School in Chicago, Illinois.

Sweetly yours,

Stephanie
