Edible Snow Globes!

DSC_9762-FINAL1-WEB.jpg

For several years now, ISAC has been making Edible Snow Globes during the holiday season. .We have even hosted several competitions for Edible Snow Globes; the submissions were pretty spectacular! This year the Edible Snow Globe Domes were part of our 12 Days of Christmas sale! I have good news. If you are still trying to decide on a gift for a co-worker or teacher, or would like a fun family activity to do over the holiday, you’ll be pleased to know that we have extended our sale price for the Edible Snow Globe Domes! This set of 6 (which include the domes and the bases) is normally $12.99, but the sets are currently on sale for only $4.95 (plus S&H)!

Here you can see the empty Snow Globe base and dome, plus a fun idea to try on your own!

If you are saying, “Nah, I don’t want to make one of those! I have no idea what to put inside.” Sorry, no excuses. I have PLENTY of ideas to share with and show you! You can watch the video at the top of this blog for some ideas and instructions on how to create an Edible Snow Globe. AND… below you will find tons of photos to give you some holiday inspiration! But wait, there is MORE with each purchase, you will receive Scott’s exclusive pattern for creating a gingerbread inspired graham cracker house for your Edible Snow Globe! You will NOT find a PDF or photo of the pattern on this blog. Sorry friends, you will need to buy the set of Edible Snow Globe Domes in order to get your own copy of Scott’s graham cracker house pattern!

If you don’t want to make a tasty, teeny, tiny house, that’s fine! There are so many other great ways to decorate! You could turn that house into a school (BAM! Teacher gift). You can use a holiday chocolate mold and sugar lay-ons (see the Edible Snow Globe above with the chocolate tree and Santa). You could use marshmallows to make a snowman, or icebergs for penguins to play on! What about recreating a scene from a favorite holiday movie?

I think I would use blue candy melts or isomalt to create an ice skating rink in the bottom of my base. Then I would have penguins skating all around with snowflakes falling from overhead. Scott and Nicholas have created some Edible Snow Globes to inspire you to create your very own!

I hope you have all found some holiday inspiration for your own Edible Snow Globes! Don’t miss out on this great sale price. This cute and adorable project is great for all ages, and is a wonderful family activity for your holiday gatherings!

Sweetly yours,

Stephanie
