Become a Jedi Mast-… I mean CAKE Master!
Chef Nicholas Lodge is widely accepted as a master in this field of cake decorating. He has been in the industry for over 40 years and has been teaching for almost as many years. People from all of the world have taken classes with him; Chef Nicholas has taught in 26 different countries. Not to mention the distance that some of his students have traveled to take classes with Chef Nicholas in his home classroom at ISAC in Atlanta. What kind of class would inspire someone to travel from an entirely different country, continent, or hemisphere? How about the first ever Renshaw Academy Master CLASS!!!
Beginning on October 13, 2018, Chef Nicholas will begin instructing students in the introductory Renshaw Academy Master Class; this class will offer all three Renshaw Academy Modules in one go! This is a longer course, running from Saturday, October 13, through Monday, October 22. Let’s discuss details! As I said, each of the three Renshaw Academy Modules will be included in this ten-day class. Days 1-3 cover the Rolled Fondant Techniques, Days 4-6 is the Royal Icing Techniques Module, and after a break on Day 7, Days 8-10 of the course covers Sugar Flowers! Students in this class also get a bunch of swag: multiple instruction booklets from Chef Nicholas Lodge and Renshaw Academy and aprons from both ISAC and Renshaw Academy. Plus, the graduates of this class will walk away with seven, SEVEN, awards certificates! Each successful graduate will receive three class certificates from Chef Nicholas and ISAC, as well as three certificates for the Renshaw Academy classes (one each for each of the three modules)… and the crowning glory, the certificate to end all certificates- THE RENSHAW ACADEMY MASTER CERTIFICATE!!!!
This certificate, this MASTER certificate, which I am sure you will proudly display to all your clients, will ensure that everyone knows just how masterful you are when it comes to the art of cake decorating and design! Oh, and as an added perk, on October 20, all of the students, Chef Nicholas and the entire ISAC staff go out for a celebratory dinner! Par-tay! Of course, as will all of Chef Nicholas’ classes at ISAC, lunch (and, my favorite- COOKIE TIME), will be provided each day of class. Additionally, I mentioned there would be a break from classes on Day 7. Students are free to relax, sightsee, shop, sleep in, or anything on that day. However, ISAC does offer an optional afternoon demonstration on cake baking, filling cakes, and working with real cakes in Studio B (10am-1pm). This demo is included in your class tuition, but is not required.
This class is an absolute must for anyone serious about taking their cake decorating skills to the next level. Going back to international students, this class, while long, is idea for students coming in from out of the country. In one shot, students can finish three Modules, and cover all the classic high points of cake decorating (rolled fondant, royal icing, and sugar flowers): maximum education, minimum travel.
Oh… and one last thing. This one is a biggie. This class is limited to 16 students. That’s it. JUST SIXTEEN. This class is just under 4 months away, and there are already student signed up for it. This class will sell out. Chef Nicholas will not offer this master class again for another year. If you want to sign up, I really must encourage not to wait. The course can be paid for in full, in two payments, or in four payments.
