Bake Magazine Honors!

Bake-1-F1-WEB.jpg

Chef Nicholas received an early Christmas present late last week- he was honored by Bake Magazine! In their annual Twentyfive special edition magazine this year, they decided to honor the top 25 educators and mentors in the fields of baking, pastry, and chocolate. Many names on the list were familiar (Norman Love, Jacquy Pfeiffer, Marina Sousa, Mark Seaman, Bronwynn Weber), but the most familiar name was NICHOLAS LODGE! Yay!

The 25 best educators and mentors honored in the 2018 Bake Magazine Twentyfive special edition!

Chef Nicholas is absolutely humbled and honored to be on this list. The magazine began the piece by explaining that while the food industry is growing rapidly, the up and coming chefs, bakers, and sugar artists need to be properly trained. Bake magazine reminds everyone in the industry that we would be no where without dedicated and talented chefs taking up the task to teach and nurture future generations. Chef Nicholas has long been a respected and sought-after instructor in cake decorating and sugar arts. His school here in Atlanta hosts multiple classes each year, he has traveled to 26 different countries teaching his skills and techniques (and every day he has international requests to visit new countries to teach), and his prestige as a competition judge is unrivaled. Chef Nicholas is proud to have been named one of the top 25 educations by Bake Magazine and he hopes to continue to be an inspiring teacher for many years to come.

With this honor, along with winning the Cake Master Cake Hero Award earlier this year, Chef Nicholas is ending 2018 with a big bang. The ISAC family is sailing into 2019 with big smiles on our faces and hope filling our hearts. We sincerely hope that you decide to take a few of Chef Nicholas’ classes this year… who wouldn’t want to learn from one of the top 25 sugar arts instructors in the world?!

Of course, the entire ISAC family also wishes each and every one of you a safe, happy, and healthy new year! Congratulations again Chef Nicholas- this is a well-deserved honor!

 Sweetly yours,

Stephanie
